Show Synopsis
Revenge, reminiscences, Jimmy Carter, and Jefferson Starship are part of this dark, hopeful comedy in which a woman attempts to free herself from her abusive husband. With the help of her friend Simon and a stripper named Sweetheart, she just may find a way.
Character Breakdown
Nan Carter: female presenting, married to Kyle. She has finally gotten to the point where she feels confident enough to leave her abusive husband. Trusting, loyal, and loving with a newly discovered backbone of steel.
Kyle Carter: male presenting, Nan’s abusive husband. Good ol’ boy mentality, mean-spirited, sneaky, cowardly.
Sweetheart/Peaches/Super-Kyle: female who strips to support her acting ambitions. Loyal and loving, she doesn’t take crap from anyone.
Simon Beaufort: male presenting, strong, loyal, and bitchy. Former college cheerleader. Has known Nan since middle school.
